American Education Has Sold Its Soul to Secularism and Paganism
American education didn’t start as a godless, leftist experiment. It began with the Puritans in the 1600s, who established schools with one simple goal: teach kids to read the Bible. The Bible was the foundation of literacy and morality, creating a society that became the most educated and principled in the world. Early Americans understood the link between faith and knowledge. Their schools echoed with hymns, prayers, and Bible stories, shaping generations who believed in God and moral truth. That’s what real education looks like.
But somewhere along the way, the left seized control of our schools and demolished those foundations. By the 1800s, socialist agitators like Robert Owen pushed a government-run education system, modeled after authoritarian foreign models designed to churn out obedient citizens, not critical thinkers grounded in faith. Public schools became little more than secular indoctrination factories where God was banished and radical ideas promoted. This was no accident. It was a deliberate effort to replace Judeo-Christian values with an amoral, collectivist worldview.
The most notorious villain in this assault on American education is John Dewey, the so-called “father of public education.” Dewey’s poisonous idea was that children shouldn’t think for themselves but be molded by government-approved dogma to “reconstruct society.” Under his influence, public schools transformed from Christian academies into centers for socialist propaganda. And that poison has only deepened over the years. Today’s curriculum draws from occult and Eastern mysticism, with Common Core standards secretly rooted in the United Nations’ obscure and dangerous esoteric teachings.
Is it any wonder kids are now subjected to pagan chants, Hindu mantras, Buddhist “mindfulness” meditation disguised as stress relief, and even Islamic prayers in red states? Our schools have morphed into spiritual battlegrounds where Christianity is erased and every foreign religion gets a free pass, all while the Bible is banned from the classroom. California’s ethnic studies classes requiring devotion to Aztec gods—gods of war and cannibalism, no less—is a grotesque mockery of education. In Florida and Chicago, students have been forced into witchcraft programs and Hindu worship rituals until parents pushed back. Yet these absurd violations of the First Amendment continue to proliferate.
Parents are waking up and trying to reclaim their children’s education, but the truth is grim: Government schools were never designed for them. The problem is not simply bad policy or a few bad actors. The entire public education system is structurally flawed, built to serve left-wing ideology from day one. No amount of reforms will fix a system that actively rejects God and promotes a worldview hostile to American values.
If conservatives want to save their children and the future of this nation, they must stop playing political games asking to “improve” the failing government schools. It’s time to pull kids out and return to education grounded in faith, family, and freedom—the way it was in colonial America. Otherwise, watch as America’s moral decay and intellectual decline accelerate. The real question is: Will patriots stand up and reclaim education before it’s too late, or will they sit on their hands as our children are turned into pawns in a godless, globalist plot?
