America Faces Deadly Siege From Venezuela Chaos and Traitors Within Will Leaders Act

The United States is staring down the barrel of a loaded geopolitical mess right in its own backyard, and yet here we are, stuck with political amateurs more concerned about narrative than national security. Venezuela, that Caribbean mess of communist tyranny and lawlessness, has become a magnet for China, Russia, and even Middle Eastern terrorists — turning it into a chaotic petri dish of drugs, guns, and anti-American skullduggery. Our president just had to put out a hardline warning: stay out of Venezuelan airspace. But this is more than a stern message. It’s a declaration that the U.S. is finally serious about reclaiming its hemisphere from foreign adversaries and criminal cartels.

For years, Venezuela has been an economic and security disaster. The regime of Nicolás Maduro is propped up by rivers of Chinese cash and armed with Russian fighter jets and tanks. Meanwhile, the country has become a hub for Hezbollah and other terrorist groups, directly threatening American security. Add to that the flood of cocaine and cartel thugs spilling over our southern border—some directly linked to Maduro’s government—and suddenly that unstable chunk of land isn’t just a problem, it’s a powder keg. The discovery of huge oil reserves in neighboring Guyana only stokes the flames further, as Maduro’s recent land-grab threats make clear his expansionist ambitions.

This is where a robust display of American military might is more than justified; it’s necessary. We aren’t just defending oil interests or protecting U.S. companies — though that alone should drive action given the current inflation crisis. This is about asserting the Monroe Doctrine with real teeth, kicking out unfriendly foreign powers, and ending the communist threat in our hemisphere. Instead of wringing hands and broadcasting weakness — as the fake news media predictably rails against any display of American strength — Washington should be applauding these moves. They mark a clear line in the sand. America’s not going to let Caracas turn our hemisphere into a war zone or a smuggling corridor anymore.

But while the administration moves forward with a clear-eyed strategy, a jaw-dropping display of political treason has surfaced on the home front. Six Democrats, including former military officers turned Congress members, have been caught encouraging U.S. troops to refuse what they call “illegal orders.” They can’t even identify these supposed illegal commands. What they are doing is actively undermining our military’s discipline and morale, precisely as the National Guard is assisting in border security and dealing with the very cartel violence pouring in from places like Venezuela. This isn’t dissent; it’s sedition. These politicians are begging for mutiny and chaos within the ranks, threatening the very security they claim to protect.

As if that weren’t dangerous enough, we witnessed a nearly fatal attack on two National Guard troops by an Afghan immigrant admitted under a reckless Biden immigration program. This man wasn’t just any immigrant — he was a CIA-trained assassin from one of Afghanistan’s most brutal special ops units. He traveled thousands of miles to Washington, D.C., and opened fire on unarmed American soldiers, killing one and leaving the other gravely wounded. This is an astonishing failure of vetting, border security, and common sense. To make matters worse, the timing of this attack dovetails suspiciously with the Democrats’ video undermining military authority. One wonders: were these events connected? Did this dangerous radical beneficiary of chaos find ideological fuel among those preaching disobedience?

Our country teeters on the edge, attacked from abroad and sabotaged from within. Our neighbors become new allies for communist and terrorist states, while Democrats push for disobedience in our military ranks and Biden’s immigration madness invites deadly enemies onto our soil. America’s future depends on facing this threat head-on — with power, with clarity, and without apology. The real question isn’t whether the military should move into the Caribbean or crack down on internal sedition. The question is whether America’s leaders have the spine to protect their country or if they’ll keep tying our hands while enemies, foreign and domestic, take aim.
