In a world gone mad, the need for decisive action is more critical than ever. That’s why Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s decision to strike an alleged drug boat in the Caribbean Sea should be celebrated, not criticized. While the liberal media cries crocodile tears over supposed missteps, those of us with common sense know that sometimes tough choices have to be made in the haze of conflict.
The so-called “fog of war” is not an excuse—it’s a reality. In hostile situations, clear-cut information is a luxury we can’t always afford. Warfare requires quick thinking and bold leadership. Hegseth’s actions aimed to choke off the flow of drugs poisoning our communities. These are the acts of a warrior protecting American values.
Where was the outrage from the left, who repeatedly push their open-border ideology, making our communities unsafe? It’s hypocritical. They whine about one strike on a criminal operation but conveniently turn a blind eye to the rampant drug trafficking their policies invite. They should be ashamed for handcuffing our military with indecision and red tape.
We need leaders who act, not those who wring their hands in endless debate. The swamp-loving elites might not like it, but taking a stand against drug smuggling sends a clear message. America will not be a doormat for criminals. Our defense leaders have the backbone to ensure it.
So, during this storm of criticism, it’s vital to ask: what’s the bigger crime—acting with courage and certainty, or letting fear and indecision rule the day? Patriots know the answer.
