It’s no surprise violent incidents, like the recent attack on National Guardsmen by an unvetted Afghan “refugee,” keep making headlines. The safety of our citizens was thrown under the bus for the sake of political correctness and globalist agendas.
Thankfully, the brash action taken by former President Trump to reverse these lunatic policies offers a glimmer of hope. His plan to halt migration from third-world nations and strip benefits from freeloading noncitizens is exactly what this country needs. Trump’s hardline stance to review and potentially revoke the status of nearly 190,000 unvetted Afghan refugees underscores how dangerously soft the previous administration was. This is about more than just immigration—it’s about preserving our culture, our security, and our very identity as a nation. The days of allowing every person with a sob story to waltz across our border on purpose or accident must end now.
Let’s not forget that Trump tried to stop this destructive spiral from Day One. His 2017 executive order temporarily paused refugee admissions from dangerous parts of the Islamic world to tighten vetting and protect Americans from terrorist threats. The radical Left and their media mouthpieces screamed “racist” and “inhumane,” but the truth is, it was a measured and necessary move. While America was keenly focused on security, liberals were busy weaponizing sympathy and lies to undermine national safety.
