New Holiday Wish List Item A Mayor That Puts Citizens First Not Elitist Agendas

Who wouldn’t want a new mayor for Christmas? This holiday season, the only thing on the wish list should be a replacement for the latest mistake at City Hall. It’s a shame Election Day doesn’t fall on December 25, because Santa could’ve put the current pick back in the bag and left something better under the tree.

The city deserves leadership that doesn’t flip-flop like a fish out of water with every passing progressive whim. Instead, they’re faced with someone who’s more interested in virtue-signaling than delivering real results. Priorities seem backward when promises cater to elite interests and globalist fantasies rather than everyday Americans who keep this city running.

Liberal policies have left cities across America groaning under the weight of crime, homelessness, and economic decay. And yet, here we are—choosing more of the same failed ideology. It’s like ordering a fruitcake expecting it to taste good. When leadership is bought with empty platitudes and thinly-veiled campaigns, the citizens end up footing the bill for empty promises.

Real leadership means pushing back against the left’s relentless crusade to dismantle common sense. Instead of making the city a playground for the ultra-rich and their green-energy wish lists, leaders should focus on policies that promote safety and prosperity for everyone. That’s what’s needed, not more grandstanding and catering to anti-American biases that put other nations before our own.

So here’s a thought for your holiday cheer: Imagine if leaders were picked based on merit, not their ability to toe the liberal line. Now that would be a gift worth waking up for! Until then, get comfortable—it looks like another year of watching incompetence strut around in a mayor’s suit.
