Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson continues to embarrass herself and the country with each Supreme Court case she gets her hands on. Every time she opens her mouth, it becomes more evident she’s unfit for the bench. The fact is, her nomination raised eyebrows from the moment it was announced. When Biden selected her, qualifications seemed to take a backseat to identity politics. A black woman on the court was more important than choosing someone truly deserving.
Her track record since her appointment is a cringe-worthy compilation. Dishing out dissents filled with sarcasm and weak reasoning seems to be her forte. Even liberal justices have been taken aback by her antics. It’s a sad sight when someone on the highest court of the land admits to not grasping basic issues time and time again. Worse yet, she often finds herself alone in dissent in cases where there should be clear consensus.
Take, for example, the embarrassment from the Louisiana v. Callais case. She made a mess with her outlandish argument, claiming it’s discrimination if states don’t draw districts based on race. Her comparison of black voters to people with disabilities drew backlash. It was ludicrous and mocked the intelligence of sensible Americans. And just when you think she couldn’t go any further, she stands against common sense in the Trump v. Slaughter case.
Jackson argues that “experts” should run the show, suggesting the President shouldn’t have power over bureaucrats. Imagine believing unelected elites know better than the American people. Her stance challenges the very essence of democracy. It’s okay for Obama’s executive overreaches or Biden’s dictatorial tendencies, but when it’s Trump, suddenly the rules change? The liberal hypocrisy is galling.
Let’s face it; Jackson’s antics are more than just a sideshow. They highlight how deeply disconnected some on the left have become. Sacrificing common sense at the altar of globalist ideals and anti-American agendas is reckless. Why should any unelected official wield unchecked power over decisions impacting everyday citizens? At what point do we tell the liberal elite to shove their nonsense where the sun doesn’t shine?
