The progressive agenda is relentlessly pushing a divisive narrative that pits one group against another, and nowhere is this more evident than in our education system. A scandal is unfolding in Washington State, where a local school district is engaging in blatantly discriminatory practices by holding events exclusively for “educators of color.” This reflects a broader trend seen at institutions like Harvard and Evergreen State College, where race and skin color take precedent over merit and equal treatment.
North Thurston Public Schools has been caught red-handed in a web of racial division. Despite legal warnings indicating that their segregationist events violate civil rights laws, they continue to operate as though the rights of white employees don’t matter. The district sent out private invitations specifically excluding any non-“BIPOC” staff, a move that reeks of hypocrisy and entitlement. By fostering such an environment within the school system, these progressives are directly undermining the very principles of equality and fairness that this country was built upon.
Ironically, the intentions behind these segregated events are claimed to be about fostering understanding and sharing experiences among different races. However, this line of reasoning only serves to strengthen divisions and reinforce damaging stereotypes. Instead of promoting true inclusion, these efforts flip the script, effectively creating an ‘us vs. them’ mindset that alienates rather than unites. It’s hard to believe that anyone could view their policies as anything but discriminatory when non-minority staff are left feeling excluded from professional development opportunities.
This troubling trend is not limited to just one district. The fallout from Harvard’s failed attempts at racial discrimination in admissions has triggered a spate of civil rights complaints across the nation. The university is now facing serious scrutiny over a scholarship program that blatantly favored “historically marginalized communities.” After all its legal battles, it appears that the tactics of exclusion and segregation have found new life in many areas under the guise of equity and inclusion.
The question we need to ask is: how long until the American people wake up to the reality that these initiatives are not about equality but rather about reinforcing a prejudiced ideology? If we allow such blatant acts of racial discrimination to take root in our schools and universities, we are not just failing our children—we are failing the principles of this great nation. It’s time to stand against this toxic agenda, demand accountability, and restore true equality in all aspects of American life.
