The shocking attack by an Afghan national on two American National Guard members in our nation’s capital is a wake-up call that the Biden administration seems unwilling to acknowledge. This act of terror, committed by someone who entered the U.S. through Biden’s reckless immigration policies, highlights the dire need to clamp down on immigration from countries where extremism festers. The left’s insistence on open borders and unvetted asylum seekers is a ticking time bomb, and this tragic event is proof.
Biden’s welcoming of tens of thousands of Afghans into this country was reckless. These individuals were hurriedly brought here under the guise of “Operation Allies Welcome.” But ask yourself, how many more potential threats are living among us unnoticed, just waiting for a moment to strike? The liberal agenda has once again placed American lives in danger. The administration showed more care for welcoming unvetted immigrants than for protecting our citizens and our freedoms.
Even now, leading Republican voices are shouting from the rooftops, demanding that the liberals face the consequences of their irresponsible policies. They are rightly calling for investigations and a total immigration ban from these volatile regions. Meanwhile, spineless bureaucrats and left-leaning media try to paint those warning us as racists, rather than confronting their disastrous policies head-on.
As the bleeding-heart politicians continue to criticize our concerns, President Trump is cutting through the nonsense by pressing forward and ramping up security. His swift action to send more National Guard members to D.C. is a clear sign that protection and prevention take precedence over dangerous political correctness. While some liberal judges are trying to block these necessary measures, this administration’s firm position against crime and terror is commendable.
The left can keep pretending that their immigration policies are without peril, but Americans can see the truth. How long will we continue to put lives at risk while the elites hide behind their walls and security details? The time has come to choose America first. If Biden and his followers can’t understand this, we have to ask — when will enough be enough?
