Meanwhile, across the Atlantic, America faces a similar battle over imported tech workers from India through the H-1B visa system. Critics warn that foreign workers on these visas depress wages and push out young American workers desperate for jobs. Investigations reveal companies pay foreign visa holders less than American employees — a predatory practice that undercuts homegrown labor markets. Shockingly, many Americans are being forced to train their foreign replacements.
