Christians in Nigeria live in constant fear, targeted by Islamic militants hell-bent on wiping out their communities. But where is the outrage from the left? The silence from mainstream media and progressive elites is deafening.
Islamic extremists rampage through Nigeria, committing horrific acts, as they aim to establish their terrifying caliphate. The tyrants want to replace the Nigerian state with a regime of terror. In just one attack, over 300 children and teachers were abducted from a Catholic school, while elsewhere, gunmen attacked churches, kidnapped congregants, and executed pastors. These atrocities are a bloody stain on our collective conscience that the left conveniently ignores.
Every day, innocent villagers find themselves abandoned, lacking protection from their government, which appears impotent or unwilling to take meaningful action. The elders and families, desperate to survive yet ignored, fall victim to the attackers’ brutal hands. Instead of demanding accountability from Nigeria, liberals focus on petty domestic issues while Christians and minority Muslims face beheadings and kidnappings half a world away.
Let’s talk about hypocrisy. Progressives love to preach about tolerance and human rights, yet refuse to lift a finger when Christians are targeted. Shocking images of mass graves, burned villages, and shattered communities should stir outrage. But when the perpetrators don’t fit the narrative, it’s easier to turn a blind eye.
The simple truth is that any solution to the carnage in Nigeria must eliminate Boko Haram and these terror networks. Radical action is necessary to crush their vicious campaign. So why won’t the global community step up and confront this evil head-on? When will they champion real justice instead of mouthing empty platitudes? It’s time to wake up and demand action. America cannot stand by while Christians are persecuted. The blood of the innocent cries out for justice, and it’s high time we listen.
