When a conservative dares speak the truth on mainstream media, chaos ensues. Recently, conservative writer Noah Rothman poked the liberal hornet’s nest on a CNN panel. As soon as he touched on the idea of assimilation among immigrants, liberal pundits like Ana Navarro jumped to silence him. Why? Because the left cannot handle the hard truth – that assimilation is crucial for the harmony and success of our country.
Rothman, known for his skepticism of Trump, certainly isn’t the most hardline conservative out there. Yet even his mild remarks on the necessity of assimilation sent shivers down the spines of his liberal counterparts. They swooped in with interruptions and baseless rhetoric, desperate to drown out any suggestion that migrants should respect and adopt our cultural values.
What’s more ridiculous is how individuals with flimsy credentials, like the CNN darling who lost spectacularly in a primary race, feel entitled to lecture on national platforms. While conservatives talk about real solutions, such as the need for immigrants to integrate into the fabric of American life, liberals ignore reality and coddle failure.
Yet, the elite on the left, those who live in gated communities and work in ivory towers, pretend not to understand the simple concept of assimilation. Perhaps it’s because recognizing cultural differences and encouraging integration would mean acknowledging that America’s values are exceptional.
The American people deserve better than liberal pandering and globalist fairy tales. Does respecting our nation’s history and values not matter anymore? Let’s face it: until we stand strong on our principles, America cannot thrive. Because if we don’t demand respect for our culture, who will?
