The latest midair scare involving a U.S. Air Force aircraft and a JetBlue passenger jet near Venezuelan airspace is a blatant display of the chaos stemming from bureaucratic incompetence. While the Air Force claims to have followed procedures, one cannot help but question the oversight and communication that let a military aircraft cross paths with a commercial jet mid-flight. It’s typical of liberal policymakers to gloss over such potential disasters, entrusting levels of control to systems that barely seem in sync.
What should have been an uneventful cruise from Curaçao to New York City turned into sheer pandemonium. The JetBlue crew had to halt their climb to avoid disaster because of a tanker that decided to ghost through the sky with its transponder off. This isn’t about careful military strategy; it’s about carelessness. This oversight shows how even our military is shackled by rules that accommodate recklessness and dereliction, all while some papers up in D.C. think quiet jeopardizing of passenger safety is a mere procedural nuance.
Meanwhile, Southern Command parades empty reassurances about how safety remains a priority. If safety is a priority, then why are these close calls happening? It’s the same tired narrative spun while they keep stumbling on the basics of air traffic control. Yet, there are those who will praise such insane strategies as progressive diplomacy or necessary steps in global relations. It’s always some twisted justification for endangering American lives under the guise of diplomatic procedure.
As tensions bubble in the Caribbean, especially with drug-smuggling operations in the spotlight, you’d think common sense would rule the day. But oh no, we’re looking at an embrace of liberal tolerance that fondly lets military aircraft skulk around trafficked skies with transponders turned off. While the map gets redrawn by unreliable globalists, it seems nobody bothered to read the manual on responsibility.
The skies over Venezuela should never become a playground for bureaucratic bungling. Are we truly living in an era where passengers have to dread stepping onto planes worried about near air-collisions? It’s time to pull the rug from beneath these faltering foot soldiers of liberal ineptitude and start demanding real accountability. One has to ask: will it take an actual disaster for the powers-that-be to get their act together?
