Sadiq Khan blames Trump for terrorism while ignoring real threats in his own city

London Mayor Sadiq Khan is pointing fingers again. After a string of terror attacks around the world, he seems to think the real victims are Muslims. Surprise, surprise. And who’s the big bad wolf causing all this “anti-Muslim” sentiment? President Donald Trump, of course. According to Khan, Trump’s straightforward, America-first language is what’s riling people up. As if speaking the truth is now a crime.

It’s laughable to hear Khan talk of a “direct link” between Trump’s words and radicalization. Meanwhile, the actual terror attacks keep happening worldwide, not perpetrated by Trump supporters, but by radical Islamists. Yet, Khan expects us to believe that the real danger comes from Trump’s speeches. Blaming Trump is a convenient scapegoat for Khan to dodge the grim reality. In truth, it’s the anti-Western narrative pushed by the left and its dangerous embrace of multiculturalism without boundaries that fuels these threats.

Khan claims he’s open to debate but simultaneously labels opposing views “unacceptable.” That’s rich coming from the guy who wants to play the arbitrator of what constitutes acceptable language. He turns a blind eye to the societal issues created by unchecked immigration policies and the radical ideologies some migrants bring with them. Maybe Khan should focus on the reality in his city instead of constantly bashing conservatives.

Let’s be clear: the so-called “rise” in anti-Muslim hatred Khan whines about is simply people waking up and refusing to be muzzled by politically correct nonsense. People are tired of being told their justified concerns are rooted in hateful “phobias.” Their frustration isn’t bigotry—it’s self-preservation. Khan, like too many others on the left, wants to silence the truth because it doesn’t fit his agenda.

President Trump inspired many by refusing to bow to political correctness and calling things as they are. If more leaders did the same, maybe we wouldn’t be entrapped in this cycle of terror and blame-shifting. So, here’s a thought, Mr. Khan: instead of pointing fingers at Trump, maybe it’s time to look in the mirror and consider the real root causes of radicalization and violence.
