But, as usual, the left is scrambling around trying to find any reason but the obvious. Here’s the fact liberals can’t handle: strong immigration enforcement works, and it puts Americans first.
President Trump followed through on his promise to crack down on illegal immigration. His administration didn’t just talk about border security—they acted. And now millions of illegal aliens are gone. The open borders crowd, of course, shrieked about “compassion” and tried to paint every common-sense policy as cruel. But who’s standing with struggling families burdened by sky-high rents? Who cares about the Americans who just want a fair shot at finding a home they can afford?
It’s no mystery why rent prices skyrocketed in so many cities for so long. Flood a country with millions of people here illegally—many funneled into urban centers, scooping up scarce apartments—and of course the cost of living goes through the roof. Regular Americans were left to fend for scraps while globalists and their buddies lectured everyone about being “inclusive.” This mess wasn’t an accident. It was a feature of the left’s agenda.
Now, with fewer illegal aliens taking up housing and competing for limited apartments, hard-working American families can finally catch a break. Supply and demand isn’t some secret, elitist equation. When fewer people are bidding for the same housing, prices drop. That means more American citizens can live where they work, raise families, and actually save up for the future.
The media and their progressive friends hate giving Trump even a shred of credit. They’ll twist themselves into knots blaming “market fluctuations” or inventing new buzzwords to dodge the obvious. But here’s the truth: when you enforce immigration laws, you put your own people first—and the proof is right in our rent receipts.
Liberals want to erase borders and demand “affordable housing” in the same breath. But you can’t have both. Maybe it’s time someone asked the Biden crowd why market relief only arrives when the border is actually secured. When will they admit that putting Americans first is just plain common sense?
