America’s power grid is groaning under the weight of Big Tech’s endless thirst. The nation’s electricity bills keep climbing, but Silicon Valley’s giants want everyone else to foot the bill for their massive AI data centers. Now, the Trump administration is stepping in with some long-overdue common sense: if these tech companies want to gobble up our power and water, they should pay the full price—no more free rides.
For too long, globalist tech billionaires have treated the heartland like their private utility. Wherever they choose to drop one of their gigantic data bunkers, local communities are left scrambling to keep up with spikes in demand. Working families face higher costs while woke tech overlords rake in record profits. It’s about time someone put Americans first instead of bending over backwards for the likes of Google, Facebook, and their cronies.
Liberals screech about the environmental impact of ordinary Americans’ gas stoves, pick-up trucks, and air conditioning. Meanwhile, their cozy pals in Big Tech are allowed to gulp down more electricity than small cities just to train their latest AI chatbot. The hypocrisy is staggering. Ordinary Americans are told to “save the planet” by giving up basic comforts while the tech elite run up billion-dollar water and power tabs.
This new Trump administration plan would force tech companies to actually pay what they owe. There’s nothing radical here—just a fair shot for the people who keep this country running. If these tech titans think their “innovations” are worth billions, let them build their own infrastructure and cover the real costs of doing business. The American taxpayer shouldn’t have to bankroll Silicon Valley’s wild experiments.
It’s another example of putting America first, not last. The left wants to prop up globalist corporations and their pet projects at our expense. Real leadership means standing up to the big guys and making them play by the same rules as the rest of us. If tech billionaires want to drain our power and water, they should pay every penny. Or maybe they’d prefer to build their data centers somewhere else? Good luck finding a place as welcoming—or generous—as the United States.
