Armed Teen Storms Capitol as Democrats Botch Security Again—How Much Worse Will It Get?

Another day, another disaster averted at the U.S. Capitol. This week, Capitol Police stopped an 18-year-old man who thought it was a good idea to make a run for Congress—while armed with a loaded shotgun. Yes, you read that right. With all the so-called “security” Democrats claim to provide, we’ve still got teenagers sprinting toward the people’s house strapped and ready for God knows what.

Let’s be clear here. The left loves to preach about gun control and “protecting our democracy.” But under their watch, the very heart of our republic keeps turning into a battleground. While they’re busy lecturing law-abiding Americans about “common sense” gun laws, criminals and unhinged youths are making a mockery of their empty slogans. It’s almost as if criminals don’t care about what Nancy Pelosi or Joe Biden has to say about gun laws. Who could have guessed?

Thankfully, Capitol Police officers acted fast. They challenged the young man, demanded he drop the gun, and got him in cuffs before anyone got hurt. Good for them. But let’s remember—these are the same officers Democrats were quick to vilify when they needed a villain to blame for what happened on January 6th. Now, when the threat comes from somewhere else, suddenly police are the heroes again. The hypocrisy never ends.

Don’t forget why we have these security nightmares. The Capitol is more vulnerable than ever because the left spends its time promoting open borders and “reimagining” policing. Meanwhile, every would-be criminal sees the chaos and thinks it’s open season on the symbols of American freedom. It’s almost as if the globalist agenda is to weaken our institutions from the inside out.

So here’s the real question: How many more armed lunatics have to show up at our Capitol before liberals admit their priorities are a national embarrassment? Maybe next time, instead of just luck and brave officers standing in between Congress and a tragedy, we’ll see some real leadership—though with this White House and its spineless allies, I wouldn’t bet on it.
