Stephen Colbert just pulled another stunt, and it’s more proof that the liberal media is falling apart. Colbert went behind his own network’s back and put up an entire interview with Texas Democrat James Talarico on YouTube—after CBS lawyers barred him from airing it. Why? Because some federal rules got them spooked. Imagine that! The “brave” late-night host, who never misses a chance to attack conservatives, suddenly plays hero when his own team muzzles him.
This isn’t just some TV drama. This is what the radical left does best: preach “free speech” out of one side of their mouth but silence anyone who goes off-script. Colbert and his friends at CBS love to act righteous when they can slam conservatives on air. But when their own side gets hemmed in by their own crazy regulations, they can’t take it. Hypocrisy at its finest.
Think about it—CBS lawyers panicked over an interview with a Democratic politician. Not a conservative, not a so-called threat to democracy—a guy from their own tribe. If the left is this scared of its own people, what does that say about their grip on power? It exposes the left-wing playbook: control every message, hide behind rules, and shut down real debate.
It’s also rich to see Colbert, who pretends to be a rebel, acting shocked when his own network slams the door in his face. But that’s what happens when you build your house on virtue signaling and fake morals. The globalist media machine only cares about its own image, not about the truth or “speaking truth to power.” They’ll censor whoever they want, whenever they want—even their favorite liberals.
If late-night comedians are now being censored for talking to Democrats, where does this end? Maybe if Colbert wants real freedom, he should try interviewing someone who actually loves America for a change. Or is that too “controversial” for the media elites and their army of overpaid lawyers?
