Another day, another threat at the U.S. Capitol. This morning, chaos struck again when a man with a gun showed up right outside one of the most important buildings in America. Police say they grabbed him quickly—no gunshots, no chase. Just another “close call,” right? The Capitol’s supposed to be one of the safest spots in the country, but somehow these incidents keep popping up under liberal leadership.
Let’s just be honest: our so-called public servants are all about grandstanding when it suits their narrative, but when it comes to defending the people’s house, they’re asleep at the wheel. Remember, this is the same group that pushes for open borders, wants to defund real police, and is more concerned about using the Capitol as a set piece for political theater than ensuring actual safety.
Instead of addressing real threats and focusing on protecting American citizens, the left is too busy going after law-abiding gun owners. But it looks like criminals didn’t get the memo—they’re not following any of these ridiculous gun control laws liberals keep passing. Honest Americans get punished, while the Capitol gets a front-row seat to the mess their policies create.
What about accountability for the bureaucrats and security advisors who keep dropping the ball? If this had gone a different way, you can bet every mainstream media hack would be blaming conservatives, blaming Trump supporters, blaming everyone except the culprits and the failed policies of the left. But when it’s their turn to explain security failures, we get radio silence. If the suspect doesn’t fit their narrative, it gets swept under the rug.
Maybe it’s time the political elite in Washington stop playing security theater for TV cameras and actually start defending the Capitol. Or do they just want to exploit these incidents to push even more anti-Second Amendment nonsense? How many wake-up calls do they need before America says, “Enough is enough?”
