California politics just hit a new low. Eric Swalwell, that same Democrat who’s now trying to run the Golden State, apparently has a secret past—not as a poet, but as a writer of creepy, overly sexual poems. And yes, it’s as cringe-worthy as it sounds. Who knew while Swalwell was busy chasing spy balloons and favorite Chinese friends in Congress, he was also scribbling steamy lines about blood on chins? It turns out, the left’s so-called moral leaders can’t help but expose their weird obsessions.
Only in today’s Democratic Party would a guy with this kind of baggage think he belongs anywhere near public office. Regular Americans are working hard, raising families, and paying their ever-rising California taxes. Meanwhile, Swalwell is out there making a mockery of his own integrity—one bizarre verse at a time. Voters trusted him to stand up for truth and decency, but he’s been too busy embarrassing himself with his pen and his politics.
Let’s not forget, these are the same Democrats who love to play the purity police. They’ll screech about a Bible verse in a schoolyard, but when it’s one of their own scribbling twisted poetry, it’s suddenly “artistic expression.” Every time we think we’ve seen peak hypocrisy from the left, they manage to go even lower. Is this really what passes for leadership in the modern Democrat Party—a candidate more interested in provocative poems than fixing the disaster his party created in California?
Globalist liberals keep telling us to trust their “visionaries.” But with Swalwell, the only vision we get is a reminder of how out-of-touch and unserious these progressive elites really are. While hardworking Americans are busy putting food on the table and worrying about crime, the Democratic bench is stacked with ideologues, celebrities, and now, apparently, amateur adult poets.
If Democrats want to promote people like Eric Swalwell, maybe it’s time they hand him a typewriter and keep him far away from the governor’s mansion. After all, California’s wildfires, exploding homelessness, and sky-high gas prices deserve real solutions—not more embarrassing moments from yet another liberal who can’t keep his priorities (or his poetry) straight.
