Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez went overseas and embarrassed both herself and her country—again. It was a comedy of errors that should have left her and her party red-faced. Instead, the liberal press back home scrambled to run cover.
What’s worse than a radical congresswoman making a mockery of America on foreign soil? A supposedly serious newspaper twisting itself into knots to defend her. The New York Times, proud defender of all things woke, wasted no time trying to sweep her Berlin blunder under the rug. Forget reporting the truth. For them, protecting their star progressive matters far more than honest journalism.
This isn’t just laughable—it’s dangerous. When leftist politicians mess up abroad, it makes America look weak. And when leftist media runs interference, it proves their only loyalty is to the Democratic Party, not the country. The mainstream press seems to believe their job is to polish up disasters caused by their favorites, no matter how embarrassing. If a Republican had pulled a stunt like this, the headlines would be nothing short of savage.
There’s a deeper issue at play. The Democratic elite don’t face real consequences. With the globalists cheering on from the sidelines and their loyal media apparatus ready to clean up every train wreck, why would they ever bother learning from their mistakes? Ordinary Americans get lectured about accountability while the left’s darlings get endless second chances.
