Colbert Melts Down Over FCC Rule After Dem Senator Denied TV Spotlight Hypocrisy Exposed

The left just can’t stand playing by the rules—especially when they don’t work in their favor. Here we go again with so-called comedian Stephen Colbert, who has made a career out of mocking conservatives with late-night propaganda instead of actual humor. Now he’s throwing a tantrum, demanding a special exemption from the federal equal-time rule because one of his liberal buddies, Texas State Rep. James Talarico, didn’t get the TV airtime he wanted.

Talarico, a Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate in Texas, immediately ran to social media claiming the FCC wouldn’t let his Colbert interview air. Talking like he’s the victim of some dark conspiracy, he whined that this was the “interview Trump didn’t want you to see.” Really? Conservatives are supposed to believe that former President Trump, who hasn’t been in office in years, is lurking in the shadows of CBS pulling levers? What an absolute joke.

Let’s be real—rules exist for a reason. The equal-time rule keeps the playing field level. But Colbert and his leftist friends hate anything that challenges their one-sided narrative. They want their candidates plastered all over national TV, while conservatives get ignored or slandered. The minute someone enforces the rules, out come the crocodile tears and phony claims about censorship.

Where was all this righteous outrage when conservative voices were censored, shadowbanned, or booted off social media simply for supporting America, traditional values, or border security? Suddenly, Democrats cry foul when they can’t steamroll their own TV ad disguised as a talk show segment. The hypocrisy would be hilarious if it wasn’t so predictable.

Colbert’s crowd doesn’t want fairness; they want control. The left never accepts the referees’ calls—they just demand the rules be changed for themselves. It’s the same old story: when liberals don’t win, they say the system is rigged. Maybe instead of blaming everyone else, they should focus on actually earning the trust of Texans. But I guess that’s too much work for elites who believe the rules are for everyone but them.
