Colorado is back in the liberal spotlight, and not for anything good. A wave of left-wing activists just kicked off a shameless bid to rewrite the state’s congressional lines. Their big goal? Give the Democrats a map where their party snatches up to three seats currently held by Republicans. To the radical left, fair competition means “heads I win, tails you lose.”
So here we go again. Whenever Democrats see red—literally, Republicans—they can’t resist the urge to erase those voices from the map. These so-called “concerned voters” think it’s their job to cancel conservative representation. They’re furious that Republicans found ways in other states to protect themselves from leftist shenanigans, so now they want to tip the scales even more right in their own backyard. This isn’t about democracy or fairness. This is about rigging the rules so Democrats can’t lose.
Forget the will of Colorado’s voters. The left doesn’t trust the people to choose for themselves. When liberals can’t win at the ballot box, they run to bureacracies and activists. They want to redraw lines until even the most conservative parts of Colorado are represented by puppets for Nancy Pelosi and the D.C. swamp. These ballot initiatives aren’t grassroots—they’re power grabs, plain and simple.
It’s laughable every time the left wails about “threats to democracy.” Who’s really shredding democracy here? It’s the Democrats, every time they rewrite the rules just to carve out more comfortable territory for their own side. Hypocrisy is their favorite game: cry “foul!” when Republicans use the system, then break the rules themselves whenever convenient. They’ll keep slicing and dicing districts until the only “choice” left for Colorado voters is which Democrat they want to raise their taxes.
This is a warning sign for every American who actually cares about fair elections. The left wants to turn red states blue by any means necessary. How long are we going to let the globalist elites in Washington and their foot soldiers in Colorado erase conservative voices? Maybe it’s time someone asked the Democrats: what are you so afraid of—free and fair competition?
