The environmental left is throwing another tantrum—this time in court—because the EPA dared to question their precious climate orthodoxy. A herd of so-called “health” and “environmental” groups are frantically suing the EPA for taking a closer look at its own “endangerment finding,” the bureaucratic tool that gave the agency unchecked power to regulate greenhouse gas emissions. Guess it’s no surprise the green activists are panicking. The last thing these climate alarmists want is for Americans to realize that burying businesses in unnecessary regulations does nothing but kill jobs, raise costs, and coddle foreign competitors.
For years, radical groups have hidden behind “science” and “public health” to push sweeping government control over nearly every aspect of everyday life. Now, when someone finally dares to review the evidence, they run straight to the courts to stop debate. It’s pure left-wing hypocrisy. Liberals scream about democracy and open discussion, but the second someone questions their climate narrative, they whip out lawyers and try to shut down opposition.
This is what happens when powerful global interests are threatened. If the EPA decides that greenhouse gases aren’t the boogeyman the climate alarmists claim, a lot of green grift dries up overnight. Forded green energy deals, international climate handouts, and all those cushy activist jobs would be on the line. That’s why these groups are more worried about defending old regulations than helping everyday Americans afford gas and electricity.
Let’s be honest: For years, liberals have used agencies like the EPA as weapons to bypass Congress and impose rules that most Americans never asked for. Who ends up paying the price? Not the coastal elites. It’s working families, rural communities, and small businesses—real Americans who can least afford to foot the bill for left-wing virtue signaling.
The left talks about “science,” but the moment the facts threaten their grip on power, they run to the courts, whining about “public health.” If liberals are so convinced that America is doomed without their costly climate regime, why are they so afraid of scrutiny and debate? Maybe because deep down, they know the facts aren’t on their side.
