Another day, another scandal from the so-called “woke” elites who run America’s institutions into the ground. This time it’s Major League Baseball in the hot seat. Tony Clark, the boss of the Major League Baseball Players Association, has thrown in the towel. And why? Because allegations of misconduct swirling around him finally got too loud to ignore. Funny how the same people who lecture ordinary Americans about “character,” “equality,” and “integrity” never seem to live up to those standards themselves.
Clark has led the MLBPA since 2013, supposedly standing up for players’ rights. Yet instead of leadership, we got exactly what we’d expect from another liberal insider: a mess of allegations and a federal probe knocking at the door. When the people in power are this comfortable flaunting the rules, is anyone surprised regular Americans have lost faith in big organizations—especially those hijacked by leftist agendas and globalist interests?
What’s especially rich is how baseball, once known as America’s pastime, is now polluted by the same moral rot infecting Hollywood, the media, and yes, even the White House. The MLBPA under Clark’s watch embraced all the latest progressive talking points: kneeling for the anthem, virtue signaling about “diversity,” and bending over backward for whatever woke cause was trending on social media. All the while, the leaders at the top were busy playing by their own rules—until they got caught, of course.
Is this really the standard we want for our country’s institutions? Leaders who preach about “fairness” while lining their own pockets and dragging the organizations they lead through the mud? The left’s hypocrisy knows no bounds. They claim to champion the common man but fill their ranks with elites who care more about politics than principle.
Now Clark is out, pushed aside by his own internal investigation. The feds are circling, and America is once again reminded that those who yell the loudest about values are often the first to betray them. Maybe it’s time to clean house—for good. How many more so-called “leaders” have to fall before we take back our country from these morally bankrupt frauds?
