U2 is at it again, proving once more that they’d rather play politics than music. The Irish rock legends have released a new EP that trashes Trump supporters and cheers for radical left-wing activism. They’ve managed to turn their stage into yet another platform for cheap shots at Americans who dare to think differently. This isn’t art—this is bumper-sticker liberalism on a global loudspeaker.
Their latest work, “Days Of Ash,” goes beyond simple political commentary. U2 has chosen to glorify the actions of Renee Good, an anti-ICE activist who reportedly slammed her car toward a federal agent before getting shot. Instead of mourning a tragic loss and encouraging respect for law enforcement, U2 painted her as some kind of hero. Their message? If you hate cops, attack our borders, or spit in the face of American law, you get a standing ovation from rockstars who fly private jets while pretending to fight “the man.”
This is the kind of hypocrisy that drives everyday Americans crazy. Bono and company don’t have to deal with the consequences of reckless activism. They sit safe, lecturing working-class people who believe in secure borders and the rule of law. If you voted for Trump, you’re a target. If you support ICE, you’re the villain. This is what passes for pulse-pounding protest from men who made their millions playing stadiums full of conservatives.
Left-wing celebrities love to act like they’re bravely “speaking truth to power,” but all they’re really doing is parroting the globalist agenda. U2 gladly pats radical activists on the back, but they’re always silent when it comes to violence against our police or the chaos on our southern border. Who needs American values when you can sell an album and earn applause from the woke mob?
While U2 lectures from their ivory towers, real Americans are left picking up the pieces after activist stunts go haywire and demagogues on the left undermine respect for the law. Maybe Bono should try living in the shoes of those ICE agents for a day—he’d probably play a different tune if he had to face the dangers they face. But that’ll never happen. Why bother with honesty or courage when you can cash in on outrage and score points with the anti-American crowd?
Who knew rock ’n’ roll would become a mouthpiece for globalist virtue-signaling and open-border chaos?
