Another day, another jaw-dropping example of failed leadership in Biden’s America. Here we are, more than two weeks since Nancy Guthrie, an 84-year-old grandmother, vanished from her Arizona home, and the authorities are still fumbling in the dark. Eighteen days missing, and we’re supposed to believe that dropping her off “safely” at night, after dark, is just business as usual? For goodness’ sake, this is someone’s mother, someone’s grandmother.
What really gets under the skin is how this story is already turning into another circus of excuses. Once again, basic questions go unanswered while the so-called experts endlessly speculate. Why was Nancy left at home so late? Why aren’t answers coming faster? In a country supposedly run by the rule of law, it’s infuriating to watch bureaucrats drag their feet while a family is left in terror.
Let’s not forget, the liberal media loves to talk big about compassion and justice, but when it’s an everyday American senior at risk, silence. They’d rather chase down cheap political points than hold the powerful or connected accountable. If this were someone with a Democratic donor’s last name, there’d be news helicopters buzzing and endless wall-to-wall coverage. But the working-class, the backbone of this country? Barely a blip on the radar.
What does it say about today’s America when elders go missing and all we get is hand-wringing and empty reassurances? Mass migration, rampant crime, open borders—liberal policies are turning once safe communities into places of fear. And as usual, it’s our most vulnerable who pay the price. Sheriff Nanos and his team need a wake-up call. Arizonans deserve real answers, not the same tired song and dance.
How many more families need to live this nightmare before those in charge get their act together? Maybe it’s time to stop listening to the so-called experts and start demanding some good old-fashioned accountability. Are we really this helpless, or is our leadership just that incompetent?
