LeBron James just sided with Hollywood elites Americans are fed up

LeBron James just can’t help himself. Every time there’s a chance to grab the spotlight, he’s front and center, barking his opinions on things far outside his basketball lane. This is the same guy who turned a basketball trade into national news with “the Decision.” Now, he’s deciding he knows best about world issues, too.

LeBron loves to speak out on Israel, diving into complex, centuries-old problems in the Middle East as if dropping 20 points qualifies him to be a foreign policy expert. It’s just the latest proof that Hollywood elites—and woke athletes—think they can teach America right from wrong. The left rolls out the red carpet, of course. To them, every opinion LeBron spouts is gospel—unless it dares to support American interests, or Heaven forbid, shows real support for Israel’s right to defend itself.

The hypocrisy is blinding. Where were LeBron’s crocodile tears for the victims of terror attacks? He’ll weep for the cameras about “justice,” but when American allies are fighting for their lives, he’s more interested in lecturing on “peace talks.” Notice how the liberals line up right behind him. They’re quick to attack our allies, criticize our traditions, and kneel for the anthem, but always hush up when there’s real evil in the world.

Americans are sick of millionaire celebrities acting like they’re smarter and more moral than the rest of us. LeBron complains about oppression from his multi-million-dollar mansion, surrounded by bodyguards and fawning journalists. The left eats it up, desperate for someone—anyone—to tell them what to believe. Doesn’t matter if it’s China’s human rights abuses or Islamic terror—LeBron and his friends always find a way to blame America and her allies.

This is the problem with letting fame substitute for wisdom. The liberal elites prop up overpaid athletes to shame ordinary Americans. But real Americans see through the circus act. LeBron doesn’t speak for you or me, and no amount of virtue-signaling changes that. When will the media stop treating him like royalty, and start asking where his loyalties actually lie?
