Liberals plot secret deal to surrender key US military base leaving America vulnerable to China

Liberals are at it again—putting America last and selling out our security to please their globalist friends. The new push to hand over the Chagos Islands, including the all-important military base at Diego Garcia, isn’t just foolish. It’s dangerous. This isn’t just another tropical speck on the map. The base at Diego Garcia is a fortress in the Indian Ocean, one of the last real outposts of Western strength. But now, under the all-knowing gaze of global bureaucrats, the West is supposed to hand it off to Mauritius, a country that’s never run anything close to a world-class military operation.

President Trump saw through this terrible deal right from the start. He knew it would weaken America’s position and make our allies less safe. Only after heavy political pressure and talks with Britain’s brand new leftist leader did Trump reluctantly nod at the process—even then, making it perfectly clear the U.S. has every right to keep Diego Garcia safe, no matter what the globalists say.

This handoff is more than just naïve. It’s outright stupidity. What madness would convince anyone it’s a good idea to destabilize a military keystone, all because some global institutions felt like shifting borders on a whim? The left preaches about “stability” and “international cooperation,” but here they are, yanking the rug out from under the West’s own forces. All this while China builds up its navy and laughs from the sidelines.

Let’s not kid ourselves: this isn’t about “fairness” or “just solutions.” This is the usual leftist crowd tripping over themselves to look humble on the world stage, even if it means gutting American power along the way. It’s the same soft-headed thinking that leads liberal politicians to apologize to the world instead of defending American interests. Now, they’re ready to hand the keys of the Indian Ocean to whoever cries loudest at the UN.

If conservatives don’t stand up now, soon we’ll have nothing left to stand up for. The defense of Diego Garcia should be a red line—non-negotiable, no matter what trendy international “deals” come from clueless politicians. When did it become controversial to put American security first? Has the West completely lost its mind?
