Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion—once the darling pet project of the radical left—has officially run out of steam. Texans can see right through the charade. When you look at Jasmine Crockett’s so-called Senate run, it smacks of everything Texans have grown sick and tired of: empty slogans, identity politics, and politicians more interested in woke virtue-signaling than fighting for real people.
Let’s face it—DEI never had a place in the real world. Outside of city elites and college boardrooms, the average American has always found these buzzwords hollow and even insulting. Working families in Texas care about safe streets, good jobs, and a government that actually works, not bureaucratic games about who checks the most boxes. Yet, Democrats still act like the DEI agenda is some kind of golden ticket to votes. Spoiler alert: It’s not.
Just look at the latest circus thanks to Stephen Colbert and his puppeteering of James Talarico. The left still thinks that parading out progressives and pretending to care about “inclusion” is a winning strategy. Regular folks see right through it. This isn’t about representing Americans or making the country better. It’s about control—power grabs dressed up as compassion. And people are tired of being told they’re the problem if they don’t clap on cue.
Jasmine Crockett’s campaign? It’s barely a blip. She’s running on tired talking points that could have been ripped out of any college diversity office. Meanwhile, Texans are frustrated by rising prices, crime, and overreaching federal mandates. They want leaders who defend their freedoms, respect their values, and put America first. The DEI crowd just offers more lectures and finger-pointing. That dog won’t hunt.
If liberal politicians think more DEI campaigns, late-night stunts, or virtue-signaling tweets are going to save their sinking ship, they’re living in fantasyland. Ordinary Americans are done playing along with this charade. Putting Americans last and globalist interests first is a losing strategy. Is it any wonder DEI is dying? Maybe it’s time for the left to realize that most people just want common sense—not another lecture from the woke elites.
