Trump Shocks Liberals by Defending Farmers and Doubling Herbicide Production in America

President Trump once again proves he’s got a spine of steel. This week, he took bold action that puts American farmers and workers first. With a stroke of his pen, Trump used the Defense Production Act to ramp up production of crucial phosphorus and glyphosate-based herbicides right here in the USA. But instead of cheering for American self-sufficiency, the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) crowd went into meltdown.

Only in today’s topsy-turvy world can a policy that strengthens American agriculture cause outrage among the self-proclaimed “health” activists. Liberals and their activist buddies would happily let our fields turn into weed jungles, just to score woke points at fancy cocktail parties. They act like glyphosate is some sort of enemy, but they never talk about how it keeps food affordable and shelves stocked.

Let’s get real: America depends on farmers. Farmers depend on safe, effective herbicides like glyphosate. If we don’t make these things at home, we’re stuck begging for imports from globalist regimes like China. Hasn’t anyone in the Left’s echo chamber heard of food security? Take away the tools farmers need, and soon we’ll all be shelling out twice as much for groceries—if there’s anything left to buy at all.

The same activists howling about “health” never seem worried about American jobs or energy independence. They push for policies that make us weak and dependent, then pretend it’s “for the good of the people.” Maybe it’s time they step outside their urban bubbles and talk to a few real folks who keep this country running.

Trump’s directive isn’t just smart—it’s essential. It’s about putting our food supply, jobs, and national interests back in American hands. If the MAHA crowd can’t understand that, maybe they’d rather see America bought and sold to the highest foreign bidder. Isn’t it time we stop letting radical activists dictate what’s best for us?
