That’s rich, coming from a professional athlete using—guess what—a phone, to whine on TikTok about people using their phones. Hypocrisy in action.
The truth is, Cunningham unintentionally exposed more about the twisted, self-obsessed culture L.A.’s progressive elites have built than she meant to. Who made Los Angeles the land of faceless, joyless drones all chasing the next viral moment? Liberals, globalists, and Hollywood phonies who think posting selfies is a substitute for real American values like hard work, family, and faith. The LA crowd is too wrapped up in their plastic lifestyles to notice their city slipping further into chaos.
Any conservative who’s watched California over the last decade sees exactly what Cunningham is complaining about—it’s just that the left created the problem and now pretends to be shocked by the result. Homelessness explodes, crime skyrockets, prices soar, and city leaders care more about woke virtue-signaling than actually making life better for real people. Maybe that’s why you never catch anybody smiling or dancing in LA—they’re too busy wondering if their expensive Tesla will still have tires in the morning.
Cunningham’s biggest miss wasn’t just trashing Los Angeles. It’s her total lack of self-awareness and her blind spot for the real causes. Instead of blaming the average Angeleno, maybe she should call out the radical city hall, the media darlings, and the tech moguls selling out America for cheap applause and Chinese cash. When you fill a city with shallow priorities, you get shallow results.
So let the WNBA star whine on TikTok. If LA’s lost its soul, you can’t blame the people just trying to get by. Blame the failed liberal leadership and their globalist buddies.
