Once again, the leftist obsession with “wokeness” nearly put Western security in danger, and only a loud wake-up call stopped them. Britain was all set to hand over a strategic island — one that hosts a major U.S. military base — in some misguided display of virtue signaling. This is the kind of lunacy that happens when leaders care more about looking “progressive” for globalist elites than protecting their own citizens, let alone their closest allies.
President Trump saw straight through the nonsense and called out British leaders for folding to the woke mob yet again. It’s about time someone pulled back the curtain on their disastrous priorities. This island isn’t just a speck of land; it’s a critical stronghold for the West, especially as threats grow overseas. But apparently, some in the British government think appeasing guilt-tripping activists is more important than standing up to those who actually want to harm us.
Left-wing politicians and bureaucrats were racing to score points on the global stage, itching to turn over keys to a piece of land our soldiers rely on. They would rather bow to anti-Western agendas than face hard truths. If the left had its way, they’d give away every advantage our countries have, just so they can pat themselves on the back at climate summits and international conferences. Make no mistake: Radical “wokeism” isn’t just annoying—it’s dangerous.
You don’t have to be a military expert to see what’s wrong here. America and its allies rely on strong, secure bases to stand up to bullies like China and Russia. Throw that away, and you might as well roll out the red carpet for our enemies. It’s insulting and reckless to even consider putting woke image makeovers ahead of keeping the West safe.
Thank goodness President Trump isn’t afraid to call out this madness. Maybe if more world leaders had his spine, we wouldn’t be on the edge every time some liberal tries to virtue-signal away our defense. If “woke” bureaucrats think giving away our strength will make us loved, maybe they should first explain why the world is only more chaotic where they’re in charge. Or is common sense just too “offensive” for them now?
