DC floods the Potomac with sewage and liberals want you to trust them with America’s future

It’s official: Washington, D.C. can’t even keep its own water clean—and Americans are supposed to trust these people with the rest of the country? The city is staring at the worst wastewater disaster this country has ever seen. Over 240 million gallons of sewage just spilled into the Potomac. Let that number sink in. That’s not just a small blunder. That’s a full-scale disaster, and it didn’t happen by accident.

Let’s talk about who’s running this circus. The man in charge of DC Water is a Biden pick. Yes, another one of those “infrastructure appointees” who gets the job not because he’s the best out there, but because he checks boxes for the White House. For years we’ve watched liberals preach about hiring based on anything and everything except actual skill. Now, when disaster hits, it’s regular Americans who deal with the fallout—quite literally.

Instead of demanding excellence, the DC elite have wasted time tallying skin colors and counting pronouns. Meanwhile, their dirty water has made the river a toxic dump. Forget about swimming, boating, or even letting your dog near the Potomac. And don’t expect a quick fix. The plan? Drag this mess out for most of a year, minimum. By then, who knows what else will break down in this so-called capital of leadership.

The media, of course, acts as if they’re investigating. But ask yourself: Are they actually holding anyone accountable? Or are they too busy protecting their liberal buddies and spinning the story so nobody asks tough questions? The answer is obvious. When conservatives warn about diversity quotas replacing competence, we get called names. But when liberals fill top jobs with woke warriors instead of hard workers, this is what we get—raw sewage in the river and a long, expensive repair bill.

Americans deserve better than the trainwreck leadership infecting D.C. If this is how the left manages our basic infrastructure, maybe we should be thankful they haven’t gotten their hands on even more. How many more disasters do Americans need before we wake up and put real leaders in charge—leaders who actually care about results, not social justice points?
