When you think of Democrats and presidential primaries, names like Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, or maybe even Gavin Newsom usually come to mind. But now, in a truly bizarre twist, it looks like the Democrats are about to hand their first-in-the-nation primary to none other than Pete Buttigieg. Yes, Mr. Mayor Pete—the failed transportation secretary who couldn’t get a handle on a single crisis, and who ran his own small city straight into the ground before getting promoted by Biden.
It’s honestly shocking. Buttigieg has been basically missing in action, both in the press and on the national stage. Just months ago, the only thing Americans remembered about him was his botched handling of that disastrous Ohio train derailment and his preference for private jets over working for the taxpayer. This is the man that Democrats now see as the future of their party? It’s almost as if experience, competence, and common sense don’t matter—just the right “diverse” checkbox on the résumé.
What happened to the party of Kennedy? These days, the Democrat Party seems less interested in results and more obsessed with climbing the identity politics ladder. Americans are sick and tired of career bureaucrats who ignore small-town America and cater to globalist interests. Buttigieg’s rise is yet another slap in the face to Americans who actually work for a living and expect the basics, like working roads and safe trains, for all those taxes they pay.
Let’s be real. Pete Buttigieg wasn’t the best mayor. He definitely wasn’t a good transportation secretary. Yet here he is, somehow leading the Democrats in New Hampshire—because, apparently, failing upwards is liberal tradition. Maybe the left believes the voters won’t notice if they keep trotting out polished speeches and empty promises, but Americans are wising up to the scam.
If this is the best the Democrats can do, the country better buckle up for more traffic jams, supply chain disasters, and woke nonsense. Conservatives can see straight through this circus. Are the Democrats really so desperate, or do they just think voters are that gullible? Only time will tell, but one thing’s for sure—America deserves a leader who actually delivers.
