The left loves to blame everyone but themselves, but the facts are obvious. That shutdown hammered the economy, slicing off an entire percentage point from what little growth we had. It didn’t just hurt Wall Street bigwigs—regular families paid the price, with jobs and investments stuck in neutral while politicians played their childish games.
