The Supreme Court just slapped America in the face. Six justices, apparently more worried about pleasing globalist elites than protecting the American worker, just told President Trump he doesn’t have the backbone to defend this country’s economy unless the do-nothing Congress decides to act first. The Court says Trump went “too far” when he imposed strong tariffs to protect U.S. jobs and fight back against unfair trade. Their new rule? Unless Congress, the same group that can barely tie its own shoes, approves, the president can’t stand up for Americans using tariffs.
Let’s cut through the noise. The Left has always hated Trump’s America First tariffs. They call them “taxes,” whining that only Congress should approve them. But these same liberals have no problem with Joe Biden abusing executive orders for everything under the sun. Suddenly, when Trump tries to stand up to China or protect steelworkers in Ohio, now it’s a constitutional crisis? The double-standard couldn’t be more obvious.
Thanks to liberal activists and a handful of weak-kneed Republicans, the Supreme Court is tying the hands of any president who wants to fight for American jobs. The ruling means future presidents will be forced to beg for bipartisan approval before punishing foreign cheaters. Good luck with that when Washington is full of lobbyists, globalists, and socialist sympathizers who care more about Beijing’s feelings than Main Street America.
Trump’s tariffs worked. The economy ran hot. Wages grew. Inflation dropped. The stock market broke records. For once, American workers saw a president on their side, not bowing to foreign interests or Wall Street donors. The so-called experts cried wolf about an “economic disaster” if the tariffs got struck down. But it’s the regular folks who actually pay the price, because now, the U.S. loses its best weapon against trade bullies—and Congress, the land of gridlock and endless investigations, gets more power.
The Supreme Court may think it’s saving democracy. But in reality, it just handed China a massive gift and made the globalists smile. When America gets pushed around, and Congress drags its feet, who stands up for our jobs and our families? In their rush to “limit” Trump, the swamp just ensured American workers get left behind. So, when the next round of unfair trade practices hit, who’s going to protect us? Certainly not the court, and definitely not the left.
