Donald Trump is back in the White House and he is not wasting any time on weak, failed globalist trade policies. On Friday, Trump announced that he’s slapping a tough new ten percent “global tariff” on imports, showing the world that Americans are tired of being ripped off. While the so-called “experts” in Washington spin their usual scare tactics, regular Americans know exactly what’s going on: for decades, our jobs have vanished, our factories have closed, and China has gotten rich on our backs.
The liberal talking heads love to cry about “free trade,” but what does that really mean? It means selling out our workers to the lowest bidder overseas, while pretending that middle America should just sit down and take it. Trump isn’t playing their political games. He’s standing tall in the face of a Supreme Court ruling that tried to trip up his America First trade agenda. Instead of giving up, he’s doubling down. That’s leadership—a word Democrats in Congress desperately need to look up in the dictionary.
It’s textbook hypocrisy from the left. They complain about outsourcing, but anytime a tough Republican leader tries to protect American steel, cars, or technology, they flood the airwaves with doom and gloom. The real threat is not from putting tariffs on foreign goods; the real threat is what happens if globalists keep running the show. Look around: open borders, weak manufacturing, and a culture that apologizes for being American. Enough is enough.
Americans are sick of watching their wages stagnate while billionaires in Silicon Valley and Beijing shake hands behind closed doors. These powerful global corporations don’t care how many families lose their livelihoods in Ohio or Pennsylvania. They just want endless profits and cheap labor. A true leader stands up to this nonsense. Trump is telling the world: no more free ride on the backs of American workers.
So which is it, America? Do we keep bowing down to “world opinion” and letting our great country get fleeced by global elites? Or do we finally put America first and take back what’s ours? Trump is showing us the way—and the left can only whine as they watch real leadership in action.
