America is upside down when police officers get punished for doing what’s right. In Detroit, two officers just got slapped with suspensions—without pay—for the “crime” of talking to Border Patrol agents. That’s right. Simply doing their job, trying to help keep our country secure, and the leftist bureaucrats at the top decide to make examples out of them.
Apparently, it’s now a firing offense to cooperate with federal law enforcement if it means actually enforcing America’s borders. This is what happens when radical, anti-American ideologies take over our cities. Instead of making public safety a priority, these liberal officials care more about pleasing globalist elites than protecting Detroit families.
Ask yourself: When did it become so dangerous to support our border agents? Shouldn’t American cops and Border Patrol be working together to keep our communities safe from crime, drugs, and illegal entry? But in Democrat-run cities like Detroit, loyalty to some imaginary “woke” handbook takes priority over the safety of real citizens. The rule seems to be: If it helps the country, it’s forbidden.
Let’s be real. Suspending officers because they dared to communicate with Border Patrol sends a chilling message to every cop: Ignore federal law. Don’t cooperate with your fellow Americans.
