America’s intelligence agencies are supposed to keep us safe, not push political agendas. But over the last few years, they’ve become playgrounds for left-wing experiments and woke nonsense. That’s why former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe just dropped the hammer and scrapped 19 so-called “intelligence” reports that did more to push politics than protect Americans.
These reports weren’t about threats from China or Russia. They weren’t even about actual intelligence work. Instead, they focused on gender, race, and so-called “diversity,” as if our enemies are going to run away when they see how “inclusive” the CIA looks. Ratcliffe saw right through the charade. He made it clear that intelligence work isn’t a social justice seminar—it’s deadly serious business, and lives are at stake.
The left wants DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) everywhere, even in places where it doesn’t belong. While our enemies are plotting, liberals in Washington want our spies to obsess over pronouns and check their privilege. This kind of thinking is not just silly. It’s dangerous. Americans trust these agencies to deal with real threats, not hurt feelings.
Liberals talk about fairness, but their hypocrisy stinks. They demand “inclusion” for everyone—unless you think for yourself or put America first. Meanwhile, their globalist friends cheer as our intelligence community gets weaker and more confused. Is it any wonder our enemies are getting bolder, when they see what passes for priorities in today’s Washington?
John Ratcliffe did the right thing. He put national security back where it belongs—above woke nonsense and left-wing fads. Maybe if more people in D.C. followed his lead, America wouldn’t look so weak to our rivals. Here’s a thought: instead of teaching CIA agents to check their privilege, how about we teach them to check for actual threats? Is that too much to ask?
