California is back at it again, showing the rest of America how not to run a state. Governor Gavin Newsom just handed out a pardon to Somboon Phaymany—a man convicted of not one, not two, but TEN counts of premeditated attempted murder. That’s right. Newsom erased his crimes, and as a bonus, kept him from being deported by ICE. You read that correctly. In California, attempted murder somehow earns you a politician’s blessing.
Let’s break this down. The top Democrat in the Golden State is more concerned about the feelings of criminals than the safety of American citizens. It’s mind-boggling. While everyday people get told to lock their doors and “call the police,” the leaders in Sacramento are rolling out the red carpet for violent thugs. They’re not just turning a blind eye—they’re putting Americans at risk and calling it “progress.”
Why would Newsom do this? Simple. California’s liberal elites are obsessed with being “woke” and pleasing their globalist friends. They care more about illegal immigrants and criminals than law-abiding citizens who actually pay taxes and follow the rules. It’s the definition of backward priorities. If you dare to criticize it, they call you a bigot. But if a criminal gets let off the hook, they call it “justice.”
This pardon isn’t just a slap in the face to victims, it’s a warning to everyone who believes in law and order. Liberals want to rewrite the law—not to protect families, but to signal virtue to their activist base. The message is clear: stick it out in California, and you’d better be looking over your shoulder—because your leaders certainly aren’t looking out for you.
At this rate, why not just get rid of prisons entirely and hand out pardon forms at the DMV? The left’s priorities are upside down, and it’s law-abiding Americans who pay the price. How many more convicted criminals have to be forgiven before Californians finally say “enough”?
