Once again, Big Tech has shown exactly what it stands for—and it’s not public safety. OpenAI employees saw dangerous red flags from Canadian transgender shooter Jesse Van Rootselaar, who was writing about real-world violence and guns. Instead of alerting law enforcement, the Silicon Valley overlords decided to sit on their hands and let things play out. Predictably, tragedy struck.
Liberals love to preach about “responsibility” and “keeping people safe,” yet when it actually matters, their woke sympathies get in the way. OpenAI flagged Jesse’s disturbing content, but the internal debate was focused on feelings, identity politics, and not wanting to “offend.” They bent over backwards for a radical ideology, rather than doing the obvious: alerting the police and possibly saving lives.
It’s a slap in the face to anyone who expects tech companies to act in the interests of ordinary people. For years, these Silicon Valley elites have been quick to censor conservatives over harmless jokes or political opinions. But when someone on the left, especially one waving the transgender flag, starts talking about gun violence? Suddenly it’s “complicated.” Suddenly, privacy and identity are more important than preventing bloodshed. It’s pure hypocrisy.
This is what happens when globalist tech executives care more about woke virtue signaling than about real-world consequences. Their obsession with being “inclusive” actually put people in danger. Canadians already face government overreach and soft-on-crime policies, but now, even artificial intelligence can’t protect them from liberal incompetence.
Ask yourself: How many more tragedies need to happen before Big Tech admits its priorities are dangerously backwards? The left keeps telling us to trust them with power, but if they won’t act on obvious threats, why would we trust them with anything? The blood is on their hands—will they own up to it, or just keep hiding behind their twisted brand of “tolerance”?
