Once again, the global elites are showing their true colors. Pope Leo XIV has decided to reject President Trump’s invitation to join the brand-new Board of Peace—a group designed to actually tackle the world’s problems head-on. While Trump tries to bring real leaders together to fight for genuine peace, the Vatican seems more interested in preserving its own status quo than pitching in for real solutions.
It’s laughable. Whenever the left cries out for unity, they’re really just begging for control. Here we have a president reaching out, breaking barriers, and trying to do something bold for the world. But the so-called champions of compassion are refusing to even sit at the table. What’s stopping them? Fear? Pride? Or are they just afraid that Trump might actually succeed where their empty speeches have failed for decades?
The mainstream media, of course, will spin this as a blow to Trump. But let’s be honest. The people who ran the world before Trump got elected—globalists, bureaucrats, and yes, even religious power-brokers—want nothing to do with solutions that sidestep their tired old talking points. If Pope Leo and his circle really cared about peace, he would be eager to work with someone who actually gets things done, not just someone who barks the same tired globalist slogans.
Look closer and you’ll see the usual pattern. The elites want to virtue signal without taking action. They criticize Trump for being “divisive,” but when it’s time to step up and work toward real, lasting change, they run in the opposite direction. Apparently, cozying up to leftist talking points in Europe is more important than building actual peace.
Anyone who still believes the system is working for regular people is kidding themselves. Trump is out here trying to shake things up, and what do the liberals and their international pals do? They slam the door in his face. Maybe they’re scared his ideas will work—and then they’d have nothing left to offer the world except more empty promises.
Real question: when did standing up for common sense and American leadership become controversial? The Pope can sit this one out, but the rest of us are watching.
