For years, Americans heard the same tiresome story: carbon dioxide is public enemy number one. Climate crusaders painted this natural gas—a key ingredient for plant life—as some sort of evil monster. The left ran wild, blaming CO2 for droughts, floods, and even the supposed destruction of our grandchildren’s future. Meanwhile, hardworking citizens were told to trade their reliable trucks for expensive, underpowered electric vehicles. All the while, politicians on the left championed policies that did more harm than good, all in the name of “saving the planet.”
This madness wasn’t just about scaring the public. It was rooted in a 2007 Supreme Court decision that forced the EPA to treat CO2 like a dangerous poison. That ruling handed unelected bureaucrats the keys to America’s energy future, and predictably, they crashed it straight into a wall of regulation. The Obama administration pounced, using this decision to churn out a mound of new rules, killing jobs and strangling American industry—all while China and other countries kept polluting with zero consequences.
Let’s not forget, carbon dioxide is the same gas we exhale, the same gas that makes crops grow and forests thrive. But liberals—always obsessed with their climate religion—want you to believe it’s a threat that must be stamped out. How many times have they pushed these extreme rules while jetting around the world in private planes? The hypocrisy is astounding. They claim to care about the environment but ignore the economic damage and misery their policies bring to the middle class.
When government oversteps and tries to micromanage the air we breathe, everyone pays the price. Energy costs soar. Paychecks shrink. American companies are forced to shut down or move overseas. And for what? So globalist elites can feel good about themselves while everyday folks suffer? Enough is enough.
Rolling back these failed CO2 rules isn’t about denying science. It’s about restoring sanity. America should never bow down to alarmists who treat climate change like a political weapon. Shouldn’t we trust common sense over the doomsday cult? How many times must progress be sacrificed at the altar of green ideology before people wake up?
