America’s roads are packed with chaos—deadly truck crashes, dangerous bus drivers, and a growing fear that the folks behind the wheel might not even understand the road signs. Now, at last, the Trump administration is stepping up where Democrats have failed for decades. The new rule is simple and just plain common sense: All truckers and bus drivers must take their commercial driving tests in English.
It’s about time someone called out the insanity of letting drivers get licensed while barely understanding the language of the road. Liberals love to cry “diversity” as an excuse for chaos, but it’s our families paying the price. Road signs in this country are in English. Emergency calls are answered in English. So why on earth would we let anyone behind the wheel of a multi-ton truck if they can’t prove they understand the nation’s language? It’s not racist. It’s not xenophobic. It’s called safety, and everyone—except open-borders zealots—knows it.
Of course, the professional victim crowd and their globalist allies are already screaming. They act like enforcing English is “unfair” or “discriminatory.” Give us a break! This isn’t about “excluding” anyone. It’s about making sure the people driving giant buses and eighteen-wheelers through our neighborhoods can actually read “stop,” “yield,” and “detour.” But when have liberals ever cared about American lives over their precious “inclusion”?
Letting unqualified—and sometimes barely literate—drivers loose on our highways is a recipe for tragedy. Anyone who says otherwise should try explaining that to the families mourning their loved ones after a horrific crash. The left’s obsession with political correctness puts everyone at risk. This new rule draws a line. If you want the responsibility of driving a truck or bus in America, you need to speak the language of America.
Instead of whining about imaginary discrimination, maybe the left should ask themselves: Whose safety do they actually care about? The American public—or their beloved globalist agenda? The Trump administration’s rule is nothing short of a win for sanity. Maybe if liberals spent less time lecturing us about multiculturalism and more time fighting for safe roads, we wouldn’t need to do their job for them.
