Mexico is once again spiraling into chaos as cartel violence takes center stage, and guess what? It’s a direct result of failed leadership and open-borders thinking backed by globalist elites. News out of Guadalajara absolutely shocks the conscience—gunfire right outside the city’s international airport, families ducking for cover, tourists scrambling, and panicked travelers wondering how things in our neighbor to the south got so out of hand. It didn’t happen in a vacuum. This is the natural consequence when cartels get free reign and government “control” becomes a punchline.
The so-called victory of confirming the death of Nemesio Oseguera, also known as “El Mencho”, the head of the ruthless CJNG cartel, immediately turned into a nightmare for the people of western Mexico. Instead of restoring order, it lit a firestorm of violence across the region. The cartel’s foot soldiers responded with a reign of terror—torching cars, blocking highways, and shutting down the country’s busiest travel routes. Travelers faced canceled flights and abandoned roads, as criminals—not police—took control. In short, this is what “progress” looks like under weak governments and corrupt bureaucrats.
But let’s not pretend this chaos stops at Mexico’s doorstep. American cities feel the ripple effect every single day as our so-called leaders in Washington ignore the message: open borders empower the cartels. With every ounce of chaos south of the border, drugs, violence, and corruption seep further into our communities. The mainstream media refuses to connect the dots. Democrats cheer for sanctuary cities and “compassion,” yet their policies feed the cartels that terrorize innocent people and rake in billions off America’s pain.
What’s even worse is the liberal elite’s silence. They wring their hands and talk about “root causes,” but they’re too busy pushing climate change hysteria and diversity quotas to admit the cold, hard truth. Gutless politicians on both sides of the border would rather blame everyone but themselves for this bloody mess. Meanwhile, hard-working families—both Mexican and American—pay the price for their incompetence.
This isn’t a border “crisis.” It’s an invasion, fueled by cartel money and made possible by woke politicians who refuse to put their own citizens first. How many more innocent people must suffer before common sense prevails? How much longer do we let lawlessness reign in the name of political correctness? Maybe it’s time to build that wall higher and hold our leaders accountable—or admit that the chaos in Mexico is exactly what open-border radicals want for us all.
