This isn’t about cutting fat; it’s about strangling the very programs families and travelers rely on. TSA PreCheck and Global Entry, meant to make travel safer and faster for law-abiding, pre-vetted Americans, are now suspended. That’s right. Hardworking people who followed the rules are punished because Democrats can’t get their act together in Washington.
It’s always the same story. Liberals throw tantrums in Congress, shut down parts of the government, and pretend it’s some noble crusade. But when the dust settles, it’s never the globalist elite or their leftist pals feeling pain. It’s everyday Americans standing in longer airport lines, wondering why a handful of power-hungry politicians keep holding the country hostage. Buried beneath the noise is the fact that immigration enforcement—one of the few DHS operations left untouched—is the only piece moving forward. They’ll let our borders stay a mess, but heaven help you if you want to fly to see grandma.
The hypocrisy is glaring. Democrats claim to champion the people, yet their shutdowns hit travelers, workers, and families right where it hurts. They talk big about “security” and “efficiency,” but strip away the very programs that keep airports safe and organized. Who benefits from this chaos? Certainly not the Americans waiting in line while politicians play their games. It always seems like liberal priorities leave the rest of us behind.
Of course, this is just another chapter in the never-ending saga of liberal incompetence. Instead of standing up for common sense, Democrats would rather grandstand for their donors and globalist interests.
