But the truth is, he’s lucky. He’s sitting in the biggest, richest city in the nation. Instead of actually tackling the problems, he’s trying to bail out with—what else?—tax hikes.
That’s right. His grand plan for filling the budget gap is squeezing even more from hard-working New Yorkers. People are already struggling, and Mamdani’s answer is to take more out of their wallets. Want to see small businesses close faster? Jack up taxes. Wish crime would go up? Drive out the middle class. Liberals say they care about the little guy, but apparently, their real love is big government and red tape.
Let’s be honest—New York isn’t suffering from too little tax money. It’s drowning in bloated bureaucracy, wasteful spending, and the kind of pet projects that only left-wing activists could dream up. Mamdani and his crew refuse to trim the fat, all while crying that they have “no choice” but to gouge taxpayers again. Classic move: punish the productive, reward the freeloaders, and call it “progress.”
Even worse, making things more expensive just encourages business owners and families to pack up and leave. Why stick around when your mayor comes for your paycheck every time he makes a mess? Just look at how many people and companies flee every single year. This is what happens when you let anti-American, globalist ideology call the shots. They don’t care if New York fails—they think raising taxes is the only answer, no matter the consequences.
If Mayor Mamdani truly cared about New Yorkers, he’d start tightening his own belt before reaching for yours. But real solutions take courage—a quality in short supply at City Hall these days. So here’s the real question: How much more can working families take before they hit their breaking point—and show these tax-happy liberals the door?
