California’s Gavin Newsom has done it again. This time, he tried to connect with black voters by bragging about his low SAT scores and his inability to read a speech. Seriously, you can’t make this stuff up. The left claims to be “the party of diversity” and “inclusion,” yet their idea of relating to minority voters is basically to say, “Hey, I’m just as uneducated and lost as you!” How insulting can these Democrat elites get?
Instead of showing respect, Newsom played an embarrassing game of pandering. He stepped in front of a black audience in Georgia, not to talk about policy or how he would improve their lives, but to talk about how he’s not that bright. He thinks voters want leaders who underachieve, fumble their words, and act helpless. It’s the same old liberal playbook—sell yourself short to seem “relatable,” then expect to coast on empty promises.
Anyone watching this circus can see what’s going on. This was not outreach; it was arrogance disguised as humility—a rich, powerful, well-connected governor looking down his nose while pretending he’s just “one of the guys.” Democrats say they want to lift people up. What they really do is talk down, assuming minority voters need to be coddled, or worse, insulted.
Let’s not forget, this is the same governor who has overseen record homelessness, crime, and the exodus of working families out of California. He’s failed at home and wants to export his brand of incompetence nationwide. Isn’t it funny how those who scream the loudest about equality are always the ones caught treating people as less-than? The hypocrisy couldn’t be clearer.
If this is the best the Democrats have to offer, no wonder they’re in panic mode. America deserves leaders with real solutions—not slick politicians playing dumb for applause. Is it too much to ask for honesty and respect, rather than these constant circus acts from the radical left?
