All across America, hard-working travelers depend on TSA PreCheck to keep airport security moving. Now, thanks to the dysfunction in Washington, that’s becoming just another thing liberals are threatening to rip away. The TSA tried to sound the alarm about “staffing constraints” and floated the idea of suspending PreCheck altogether, supposedly due to a funding standoff. For everyday Americans who just want to visit family or get to work, these games are infuriating.
This is what happens when big government gets out of control. Instead of prioritizing taxpayer needs, the bureaucrats and their liberal pals use basic services as hostages in their endless D.C. power struggles. Meanwhile, Americans are left in limbo, never sure if today’s flight will mean hours of government-induced delays or “operational adjustments”—whatever that means in bureaucrat-speak.
Let’s be honest: there is always enough money for what the Democrat elites want. There’s always cash for their pet projects, diversity consultants, climate agendas, and migrant shelters. But when it’s time to serve working American families at the airport, suddenly the pockets are empty and the lights go dim. The hypocrisy is astounding—and insulting.
Sure, for now, TSA claims PreCheck is still running. But don’t be fooled by their half-hearted reassurances. Every time the left can’t balance a budget, normal folks are made to pay the price. It’s always about more control for them, less convenience for us. They want to keep the public nervous and desperate—easier to push their globalist nonsense when Americans are busy worrying they’ll miss their next flight.
This country deserves better than scare tactics and incompetence. Maybe it’s time for the folks in charge to remember who pays their salaries—and who’s fed up with being treated like collateral damage.
