Liberals freeze up again as New York snowstorm exposes city chaos

It’s another Monday in New York City, and once again, liberals are proving they can’t even handle the weather. While Americans are supposed to be out walking their dogs on National Walk Your Dog Day, the Big Apple finds itself snowed under—literally and figuratively—by incompetence. The city gets hit with snow, and what do leftist leaders do? They flounder, bungle, and act shocked that winter still happens, as if weather itself should now bow to their global warming hysteria.

Remember when Democrats promised new policies would make city life “safer” and “more efficient?” Well, the so-called “progress” is laughable. Streets are clogged, emergency services are slow, and families just trying to get through a normal day are left stranded. Liberals always say they’re the party of science, but can’t even manage basic snow removal. Maybe they think if they ignore the storm, it’ll go away—just like they ignore crime and decay plaguing our once-great cities.

New Yorkers deserve better than this slippery mess. Decades of leftist mismanagement have left the city unable to deal with problems the rest of America tackles every winter. But no, New York elects the same kind of virtue-signaling bureaucrats who care more about lecturing us on “climate justice” than keeping the sidewalks clear. When hardworking people can’t walk their dogs without worrying about slipping or getting stuck, that’s not progress—that’s a total failure.

Let’s not be fooled. Globalist elites who scream about the environment from their cozy Manhattan apartments are the same folks who can’t run a snowplow. They demand higher taxes and new “green” policies, but when the flakes start falling, city services melt faster than snow on a hot griddle. Meanwhile, common sense gets buried under layers of bureaucracy and woke nonsense.

It’s National Walk Your Dog Day, but maybe it should be National Wake Up and Elect Leaders With a Spine Day. New York is facing the cold, hard truth: when liberals run the show, the only thing that piles up faster than snow is misery for ordinary Americans.
